The Central Cemetery — Centrálka to locals — is the largest in Brno, laid out in Štýřice near Vídeňská street at the southern edge of the central district. The crematorium building stands at its north-western edge, and in the middle of its eastern section is a memorial to Soviet and other foreign soldiers who fell in the liberation of Brno at the end of the Second World War.
