Kostel sv. Jiří

Czechia

Kostel svatého Jiří is the oldest medieval building still standing in Brušperk, and for centuries it has been the shape that defines the town's skyline. Look at it from a distance and the square Renaissance tower with its onion roof does the talking. Even its beginning is uncertain: the absence of historical records means nobody can say exactly when or how it started.
