Kostel sv. Víta
Czechia
Kostel sv. Víta sits right in the centre of Borovnice, in the Trutnov district, beside the main road through the village, with its graveyard wrapped around it. You reach it the way the village always has, through wrought-iron gates hung between stone pillars and set into a trapezoidal wall of rusticated sandstone blocks. Inside that wall the church and the dead share one enclosure. Just to the right of the main entrance, a tombstone carries the figure of a mourning angel. Against the wall of the nave stands a late Baroque stone crucifix with figural reliefs, dated 1811.
