Kostel svaté Anny
Czechia
Kostel svaté Anny is a hospital church, and that explains its odd stance on the edge of Horní Slavkov's streets. It is not oriented to the east as churches usually are, and the two-storey building pressed against its western wall was once the town hospital, now a residential house. At first-floor level the hospital was linked to the church by a passage leading straight onto the wooden organ loft. Look above the two entrances and you will find stone carvings from the church's construction: a blessing Christ, and Saint Anne with the Virgin and Child, carved in high relief.
