Mlýnský Rybník
Mlýnský rybník
The pond locals call Apollo, with a temple and a timber lookout on its shore.
Mlýnský rybník — commonly called Apollo — is the last and second-largest of the cascade of ponds on the Včelínek stream, a kilometre south-east of Lednice. It forms part of the Lednice Ponds national nature reserve and an educational trail runs around it. On its southern shore stand a low timber lookout tower and, on a rise, Apollo's temple, which is where the nickname comes from.
