Nesyt

The largest pond in Moravia, and part of the Lednice Ponds reserve.

Nesyt — also called the Sedlec or Kamenohrázský pond — is the largest pond in the South Moravian Region and in Moravia as a whole, and the eighth largest in the Czech Republic. It lies in the municipalities of Sedlec and Hlohovec between Valtice and Mikulov, and together with the Hlohovec, Prostřední, Mlýnský and Zámecký ponds it forms the Lednice Ponds national nature reserve. Its surface covers somewhere between 288 and 306 hectares depending on the source.
