Panna Marie Pomocná
Czechia
The wooden church of Our Lady on Gruň stands in the Beskydy mountains, in the small settlement of Gruň, which belongs to Staré Hamry. The figures are modest: 17 metres long, 10 wide and 20 high including its tower. It is built in what is called the Nordic style. Since 2002 it has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, and the Gruň – Bílý Kříž nature trail passes right by, so you may well arrive on foot and find it in front of you.
