Přední kopaniny
Dry steppe turf with gentian and pasqueflower, protected since 2014.
Přední kopaniny is a natural monument declared on 1 August 2014 in the Hustopeče municipal area. Like the nearby Kamenný vrch at Kurdějov it protects dry steppe grassland dominated by brome and fescue, together with blackthorn scrub. Rare plants grow here, including cross gentian and large pasqueflower — the reason the site is fenced off in the way it is.
