Rendez-vous Nature Reserve
Pannonian oak woods on acid sand, east of Valtice.
Rendez-vous is a national natural monument east of Valtice, administered by the Pálava protected landscape area authority. It protects Pannonian thermophilous oak woods on acid sands and Pannonian oak-hornbeam stands with a substantial population of Turkey oak, along with short-turf meadows, acidophilous dry grassland, ephemeral and succulent vegetation, and a shallow pond with macrophyte vegetation. Diana's Temple stands by the pond within it — the reserve and the building share the name.
