Rolandsäule
Austria
You find it on the east side of the Martinskirche, standing in the main square of Drosendorf, a district of the Lower Austrian town of Drosendorf-Zissersdorf in the Horn district. At roughly seven metres it is said to be the tallest Roland column anywhere in the German-speaking world, and it is really two monuments stacked one on top of the other: a pillory below, and a figure of Roland, the emblem of a town's rights, above. Locals use both names, Rolandsäule and Prangersäule, and both are accurate.
