The Za Lužánkami football stadium in the Ponava district has stood unused for a long time. Zbrojovka Brno played its home matches here until 2001, when the club moved to Srbská. It is the largest stadium in the country by capacity and it has been left to decay — a ruin of a very recent kind, and a recurring subject of argument in the city about what to do with it.
