Stránská skála
A limestone outcrop on the city's edge, protected as a national monument since 1978.
Stránská skála is a limestone rock formation in the northernmost part of Brno-Slatina, between Slatina and Líšeň on the boundary of the Černovice and Tuřany terraces. It was declared a national natural monument in 1978, with a fresh declaration issued in 2013. It is reachable on city transport, which makes it the easiest piece of real geology to get to from central Brno.
