sv. Anna
Czechia
Climb the slope above Vižňov, in the Náchod district, and the church of St Anne waits among the graves of its hillside cemetery. It is a Baroque building of rough quarried stone, and one of the so-called Broumov group of churches. Abbot Otmar Daniel Zinke of the Broumov monastery commissioned it, and the design came from Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. Since 1 July 2022 it has been protected as a national cultural monument, the highest tier of heritage status in the country.
