Všech svatých
Czechia
The Church of All Saints in Bratronice, in the Kladno district of Central Bohemia, is younger than the ground it stands on. An older cemetery church, dating from the early fourteenth century, once occupied this spot and was pulled down to make way for the present building. What you see went up between 1780 and 1783 in late Baroque style, the work of a master mason named J. Cikan from Budy, now part of the market town of Křivoklát. It became a parish church in 1855, and the presbytery nearby was probably built in 1787, though that date is an estimate rather than a certainty.
